Cornseed oil

Refined corn oil is obtained from the seeds of Zea mays L. it is the richest in plant sterols.
In our body, plant sterols counteract absorption of cholesterol in the intestine and therefore have a demonstrated efficacy in the fight against hypercholesterolemia.
The high content of plant sterols, together with the predominance of polyunsaturated fatty acids, constitutes an important reduction of cardiovascular risk.
